5Great productJun 13, 2011

Terrific product that has worked wonders on all of my vintage linens - from stained tablecloths to cotton doilies. Two stage process - 3 scoops to a gallon of hot/warm water with a 15-20 soak ( wash items with soap beforehand to get grease out). After 20 mins the soaking water is filthy.
Gently rinse items & then make up another solution (can be done in washer) & soak items for 6-8 hours. Everything comes out fresh & clean.

I have collected baby clothes for greater than 30 years and I have NEVER found anything to rival this product, yes ladies, even BIZ. It is gentle but fast IF you follow the directions. Clothing I have had with stains and spots are now clean, spot free and smell awesome. Use it.....you will not be disappointed. MIMI

5Terrific product ~ VERY satisfiedOct 19, 2011

I inherited a very intricate Christening gown that belonged to great-great relatives. I was very saddened that it was as yellow and spotted as it was. After scouring the internet I came across Restoration. The stuff worked miracles! With the first application it was almost perfectly white. After treating it a couple times almost every spot was gone. My kids each wore this gown and their kids will be able to wear it thanks to Restoration!

Since then we have used Restoration on table linens, pillowcases, cross-stitch samplers and more. Only thing we noticed with the powder was that in high humidity it dissolves; so keep it in a sealed plastic bag.

5The best - YOU WILL NEVER FIND ANYTHING ELSE THIS GOODOct 15, 2011

This powder has never disappointed in cleaning vintage linens, including needlework, as well as modern linens that has become yellowed like sheets and pillowcases. I know of no other product that is as effective, and gentle, to old textiles, as this. Follow directions and a little will go a long way. I highly recommend this product.

5It really does work!Aug 23, 2011

I bought this to remove stains from a very old "tablecloth" that I found while cleaning out my Mom's linen closet. It was covered with brown spots and significantly discolored where it had come in to contact with the wood shelf. I'm sure it hadn't been used or cleaned in decades. After soaking it on and off for three days all the stains were gone although once it was clean and I took a much closer look at what I orginally thought was a tablecloth with my grandmother's embroidered initials, is an antique sheet with some very fancy cutwork on one end. It can still be used as a tablecloth but no wonder my 90 plus year old mother didn't know what "family heirloom tablecloth" I thought I had discovered. I also used it on some other linens that needed to be cleaned and was extremely pleased with the results.
