Great tray for the "al fresco" lifestyleJul 10, 2009
After vacation this year, my husband and I vowed to spend more time enjoying life outdoors. We needed a few things to accomplish this, one being a large, sturdy tray with raised sides, so transporting meals from the kitchen down some stairs to our patio would be mishap-free.
Mission accomplished with this La Cadeaux tray. Plus the cheery pattern (we picked the yellow rooster) is attractive enough to display when not in use. It says it's dishwasher safe, but I haven't tried it since it cleans up easily with a soapy cloth and a rise.
My only dissatisfactions are:
1. I wish it were slightly larger so I'd have fewer trips to make, but it handles two dinner plates, glasses, silverware and napkins, so it is adequate for most of our meals.
2. The edges of the cut-out handles are a little thin, which can be uncomfortable when carrying something heavy.
