The best Melamine plates I've ever seenAug 20, 2011

Just received these in the mail to give as a gift and I couldn't be more shocked. I wanted plates for my daughter that could be used by the pool, or with kids who might break them, but that had some character and didn't look like plastic plates. These are fabulous...unbelievable heavy weight and it takes a second glance and feel to realize they aren't ceramic. Soooooooo surprised...colors and pattern is great, as is the other color and patterns to choose from with this company...even salad plate size available. So worth the investment! Will get some for myself to use with my ceramic plates! Came very quickly, within just a few days, packed well and no problems whatsoever. Very pleased with this product and the company.

I purchased 8 dinner plates in preparation for summer entertaining and visiting children. The appearance and beauty of the plates exceeded all expectations so the children never saw them---they became the "company" plates for outdoor and casual dining with the adults. They were assumed to be fine European dinnerware from their lovely colors and designs. My guests were astounded when they learned the plates were Melamine! I will purchase the additional serving pieces soon!

I love, love, LOVE my Le Cadeaux Melamine dishware!!! This is a great investment for your every day pleasure, bringing a touch of French influence and beauty to your dinner table.
The dishes are so distinctive that I get many compliments every time I bring them out. Even my husband likes them. The designs are so elegant that people don't even realize these are high quality plastic dishes on first sighting. When they pick them up, they are even more impressed!
I own the lemon pattern cereal/salad bowls and luncheon plates and I paired them with the solid gold dinner plate. Because the solid colors are so vivid, it's a lovely match. In addition to the dinnerware, I have the platters in both the gold and lemon patterns and I also have the large salad bowls. Since these are unbreakable dishes, they transport well for parties and pot luck luncheons, so I use them often.
Warning: Before buying, you should note that the dinner plates appear to come in two sizes: 11" and 12".
