 Great vegetable brush but priceyDec 29, 2010

This is an excellent quality and nicely designed vegetable brush. I have been looking for a brush that stands upright so it dries quickly and does not have its bristles laying on the edge of the sink or on the dish rack which can promote the growth of bacteria and this one fits the bill. I bought the transparent green with yellow bristles one as it is a snazzy looking combination which I like. I would have given this 5 stars but the price was $17.50 which is about two to three times what it should be. I bought it anyway since I had not been able to find one as good for a reasonable price.

My first Tweetie has finally bitten the dust after several years of faithful service. It fits perfectly in my hand and is quite maneuverable. The brush is optimally stiff to get veggies clean, but soft enough to not harm them. Clever design always gets a smile from guests.

When guests would come over and try to be helpful, they would use my vegetable brush to clean my dishes. Having both the dish and vegetable brush in this design, I hope will help. This little guy is really cute and makes me smile, but more importantly, it is the first veggie brush I have found that has the right firmness to get the job done with out scratch and bruising my veggies - especially celery. Horray!

I love the scrubbies for the kitchen. Nothing else I've tried comes even close to being as sturdy as these.
