I ordered a tin of these little pegs to hang seasonal cards on a thread.
They work well, look good, are about the right size - and if you shop around you can get them for a good price. They look like they will last for many years.
Worth checking the price though - I paid $15 + shipping - but I've seen them for much, much more at other online stores and even on Amazon.

I'm using things clothes pins for an advent calender that holds little red and green baby socks along a ribbon. They are perfect for what I need.
